SSA Base Helsinki -hotel
There are 440 high-quality hotel rooms in the SSA Base Helsinki Hotel, to be completed by 2020. The hotel rooms utilise SSA Base’s convertible furniture solution. This enables the use of the hotel both for accommodation and office use in the daytime.
The hotel will be built on Mannerheimintie, in the vicinity of Central Park, a short tram ride from the centre of Helsinki.
It is about a 15-minute drive from the airport to the Base Hotel. Located in the vicinity is, for example, the Hartwall Arena, the Trade Fair Centre (Messukeskus), the Olympic stadium, the Linnanmäki amusement park, Tali golf, the University Hospital and the Opera House.
SSA Base Helsinki -hotel
To guarantee a safe and comfortable operating environment, the hotel has, in addition to the rooms, all of the services of a traditional hotel: reception, lounge, restaurants, reception spaces, a small gym, a kiosk and other facilities serving for the use of the building as well as a two-storey parking garage with 155 parking spaces. The sauna and spa department is located on the rooftop storey of the hotel.
Automated check-in and check-out is done without going to the reception desk. You can take the lift directly from the parking garage to the storey on which your room is located. The door opens conveniently with a key code. There are storage facilities in the Base rooms and the hotel, important for customers using the hotel regularly, enabling the storage of personal effects between stays.
KOY Base Helsinki building
The hotel building is a seven-storey new construction. The interior structure is formed by two buildings. The hotel-workrooms and group rooms are located on the 2nd through to the 7th storeys. A bright, impressive exterior-like area is formed in the lobby space.
The lobby spaces form the heart of SSA Base.
The street-level spaces of the hotel building are designed to function as the Base people’s common “living room”, with excellent restaurants and services. Invite your friends to visit the world’s largest living room! In the architecture, the furnishings and the rhythm of the lobby space imitate a park-like space, forming a setting for the natural meeting of people.
